The New York Times crossword puzzle is an icon in America culture, so when the paper announced its first "Teen Puzzlemaker Week" (Sept. 8-13), it was quite an honor to be one of the six puzzle authors. Carnegie Mellon's freshman computer science student Lucas Whitestone was the Sept. 10 creator. Now he has really made it by constructing a puzzle exclusively for Carnegie Mellon Today.
