Not much gets past Carnegie Mellon senior Chisom Amaechi—on the volleyball court or in the classroom. The chemical engineering major, and key defensive player for the Tartans volleyball team, joins 84 other Tartans athletes on the 2008 University Athletic Association Fall Sport All-Academic Honor Roll. The honors are given to student athletes who have completed at least one year of college study and carry a minimum GPA of 3.3. Carnegie Mellon ranked above six other UAA schools, second only to Washington University, which led with 96 student athletes.
