The Professional Writing master's program (MAPW) celebrates its 25th anniversary and the Center for Arts Management and Technology (CAMT) its 10th.

Karen Schnakenberg, MAPW director, says its October 27-28 event honored co-founder Erwin Steinberg. Dr. Steinberg calls MAPW the quintessential Carnegie Mellon initiative, saying "The program bridges the humanities and the sciences, the arts, and management."

CAMT, an applied research center in the university's Institute for the Management of Creative Enterprises, celebrated with a Technology in the Arts Conference on campus October 20-21.
