He's a member of President Barack Obama's Homeland Security Advisory Council. And he's president of Carnegie Mellon University. Jared L. Cohon recently added yet another title to the list—distinguished member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. It's the society's highest accolade and one that only 198 of its 146,000 members can add to their résumés.
