CMU men’s golf team works hard to compete against others on the links. Last year, the players had a competitive season, placing third at the 2014 University Athletic Association Championship and having three players receive All-UAA Team Honors.
Off the course, the team did even better. For the 2013-14 academic year, the CMU men’s golf team was awarded top academic honor for Division III schools by the Golf Coaches Association of America. The Tartans finished the year with a cumulative GPA of 3.70. This marks the second time the Tartans have claimed the top honor for all of Division III, as they placed first with a 3.62 GPA in 2009-10.
