A light snow falls gently from the sky as a family meanders through rows of evergreens, the boughs reaching out to prick their red cheeks and the intoxicating aroma begging them to take home the perfect Christmas tree. The annual tree sale at the Western Pennsylvania School for the Blind is just one of numerous events involving the 22 Carnegie Mellon fraternities and sororities that contributed last year 8,293 hours of community service and raised $29,832 for local and national charities.
