Carnegie Mellon recently received yet another top 10 ranking, and this one is a real trendsetter: CMU is the ninth most hipster college campus, according to CollegeMagazine.com. “When it comes to being hipster, it’s as much about counter-culture fashion as it is non-conformist thinking. Carnegie Mellon encompassed these criteria through their focus on design and the arts as well as their creative approach to the study of humanities and social sciences,” says Amanda Nachman, the magazine’s publisher.
