So far, 2012 has been quite fruitful for Carnegie Mellon President Jared L. Cohon. First, he was elected to the National Academy of Engineering, one of the highest professional distinctions granted to an engineer. On the heels of that honor, he was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, whose elected members are leaders in the arts, business, public affairs, and academic disciplines. President Cohon is the 18th academy member from Carnegie Mellon.
