Carnegie Mellon's Robot Hall of Fame, established last year to recognize
the increasing benefits robots are bringing to society, has announced its
second class of inductees. This year's class, which will officially be
inducted on Oct. 11, includes ASIMO, Shakey the Robot, Astroboy, Robby the
Robot and C3PO.
